Our policy is typically to have new team members attend several rehearsals before being on stage on a Sunday.
After a successful audition, new team members 1st rehearsal session will be dedicated solely to familiarizing themselves with the equipment. (i.e. in-ear monitors, monitor controls, etc).
New team members 2nd rehearsal will be a "sit-in" session with the team. New member will be expected to be familiar with the set list for this practice and will practice as though they will be on stage that week. New team members will not be on state that week, however. This rehearsal serves multiple purposes, including helping familiarize new team members with the team as well as helping new team members be comfortable once they are on stage.
Finally, team members 3rd rehearsal session will occur the week of their first Sunday on stage.
